Encore Fall 2026 Sentimental Journey Singers Registration

Join us for Sentimental Journey Singers this Fall! 

Encore Creativity for Older Adults is the nation’s largest choral arts organization for adults 55 and over. 

Our Sentimental Journey Singers programs are community-based choirs designed for singers with early to mid-stage cognitive change and their care partners. We also invite volunteers from the community to join us and sing in these programs. Anyone age 55 and up is welcome!  

These non-auditioned choirs featuring a combination of familiar and new songs are designed for singers of all levels, singing in unison, two- or three-part harmony.  The Fall season will consist of 15 weeks of rehearsals culminating in a free community concert. No musical experience is required; our singers will have access to rehearsal tracks or rehearsals CDs (upon request).

Our programs do not have attendance policies; we simply want our singers to enjoy singing and making new friends throughout the season! 

Visitors are welcome to sit in on rehearsals before registering, so feel free to invite your friends. Registration will remain open for the entire season. Please contact our office if you have any questions - info@encorecreativity.org or 301-261-5747. 

With the generous support of our sponsors, Sentimental Journey Singers programs are available for whatever you want to pay starting at $0. 

Attend for FREE, or if you would like to assign a value to this lifelong learning experience, you may do that during registration.  

Participation: Please register yourself and anyone you may be registering for as one of the following roles.

• Participant: singer with cognitive change 
• Care Partner: carer for participant 
• Choral Companion: volunteer singer

Program Fee: $0 or Pay What You Will

Important: Singers who register after August 10th, 2026 cannot be guaranteed physical sheet music at their first rehearsal. Those who register later may need to print their own music for the start of the season based on music availability. 

COVID Policy
