This Encore program draws singers from across the country who are interested in improving their vocal technique. With the gorgeous and historic Chautauqua Institute grounds as your backdrop, you'll rehearse challenging choral music and spend a week in a beautiful setting with other music lovers. Forge friendships, hone your singing voice, and explore the history of Chautauqua. You'll enjoy spirited rehearsals with Encore's distinguished artistic staff in preparation for a final concert performance on the Chautauqua Institute grounds on Friday afternoon.

Materials

You will receive hard copies of your music when you first arrive at camp when you check in. Digital versions of materials (score PDFs and rehearsal tracks) will be available online to practice before you arrive. Please note that there will be no rehearsal CDs for summer camps.

Costs and Rates

Online credit card payments are subject to a 4% credit card processing fee. You may also choose to pay via check mailed to Encore's address without the credit card fee. To pay via check, please select the check payment option and choose "Pay Later (Check)" on the registration form. (Click here for a visual guide to the button on the registration page.)

If you have placed a deposit with us through our Roadmap of Events Deposit registration page, you will receive a coupon code after deposit registration closes on January 2, 2024. Please use the coupon code provided in that email. Your deposit amount of $200 will be deducted from your subtotal at the payment page. (Please note, when selecting a ticket, it will show the full cost. The final page before payment will have your deposit deducted from the total.)

Bus from Silver Spring: A charter bus will be available departing from the Silver Spring area early on the morning of August 24th and returning on the 29th. This motor coach will be equipped with restrooms.

PLEASE NOTE: The cost for this bus is based on 25 people registering. If fewer people register, the price will go up for those who are registered. However, if more than 25 people register, the price will go down! 

• Bus from Silver Spring - round trip: $400
• Bus from Silver Spring - one way: $200

Van from the Buffalo Airport: A van will be available departing from the Buffalo Airport at 1pm on  August 24th and returning to the airport after camp on the 29th. 

PLEASE NOTE: The cost for this van is based on 10 people registering. If fewer people register, the price will go up for those who are registered. However, if more than 10 people register, the price will go down! 

• Van from Buffalo Airport - round trip: $275
• Van from Buffalo Airport - one way: $140

Final payment is due by June 23rd, 2025.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation on or before June 23rd, 2025: Full refund
• Cancellation from June 24th, 2025 - July 24th, 2025: 50% refund
• Cancellation on or after July 25th, 2025: No refund
