Winter is the season of mystery and wonder. As nights grow longer and temperatures plummet, we seek out the warmth and safety of crackling fires, hot chocolate, and the company of those who love us.

What better time to tell a good old fashioned ghost story?

Ghost stories have been linked to the Winter Solstice and by extension to other winter holy days for centuries. Come to this workshop to learn how to write one of your own! We will discuss the ways diverse writers have used the elements of plot, character, setting, conflict and tension that define the genre, and do some brainstorming exercises to stimulate your own writing process.
