Chautauqua Music Camp

This Encore program draws singers from across the country who are interested in improving their vocal technique. With the gorgeous and historic grounds of the Chautauqua Institution as your backdrop, you'll rehearse challenging choral music and spend a week in a beautiful setting with other music lovers. Forge friendships, hone your singing voice, and explore the history of Chautauqua. You'll enjoy spirited rehearsals with Encore's distinguished artistic staff in preparation for a final concert performance at the Chautauqua Institution on Friday afternoon.

Materials

The repertoire list will be posted on the website by April 1, 2026.

You will receive hard copies of your music when you arrive at camp. Digital versions of materials (PDFs of the octavos and rehearsal tracks) will be available online 30 days prior to the beginning of the camp so you can practice before you arrive. Please note that there will be no rehearsal CDs for summer camps.

Costs and Rates

The registration for the Chautauqua Music Camp will allow you to choose your full payment based on whether or not you have paid a deposit for this camp.

Online credit card and ACH payments are subject to processing fees. To avoid processing fees, you may choose to pay via check mailed to Encore's address. To pay by check, please select the "Pay Later" option on the registration form and then select "My payment will be made by..." (Click here for a visual guide to the button on the registration page.)

•  Single Occupancy per person: Cost: $1750
• Double Occupancy per person: Cost: $1525
• Commuter per person: Cost: $850

Airport Shuttle Transportation: There will be a shuttle available from the Buffalo Airport to and from camp; registration is required. Follow this link for more information: Buffalo Airport Shuttle

Payment in full is due by June 16, 2026.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation on or before June 16th, 2026: Full refund
• Cancellation from June 17th, 2026 - July 16th, 2026: 50% refund
• Cancellation on or after July 17th, 2026: No refund
  • Refunds will be minus credit card fees unless those fees were included in the original transaction.
  • Please note that Encore is responsible for all payments in this time frame so NO exceptions can be made for emergencies, sickness or hospitalizations.
